Steer & Co. Financial Planning was founded in June 2026 by James Steer, who brings over seven years of experience as a Financial Adviser with St. James's Place. James launched the Practice with a clear purpose: to build a small, focused firm where clients receive genuinely thorough, personal financial planning - not just investment management, but a joined-up plan built around their life and goals.We work with individuals and families who are building wealth with retirement in mind, as well as those approaching or already in retirement who want confidence that their income will last. Through St. James's Place, we can offer access to a carefully managed range of investments, while James provides the kind of close, ongoing relationship that larger practices often struggle to deliver.
